It reads only Nespresso Vertuo pods, including Starbucks by Nespresso Vertuo. Third-party pods do not work.
Pods cost more than ground coffee

No carafe size
The Pop+ brews five sizes. The Vertuo Next and Vertuo Up add a sixth carafe size.
Small tank and pod bin
The 25.4 oz tank and 5-pod bin are the smallest in the current Vertuo range, so you refill and empty it often.
Milk costs extra
The base machine brews coffee only. For lattes you need a bundle with Nespresso's Aeroccino frother or a separate frother.
