How we choose products
Last updated October 13, 2026
Which products we cover
We pick products that many people in the US are actively searching for and buying, across tech, gaming, home and kitchen, drinkware, and personal care. We cover one product per brand so the site stays broad, and we favor products where the buying decision is genuinely hard: several versions, a confusing price range, or a known trade-off.
Where the information comes from
- The maker. Specs, list prices and model differences come from the manufacturer's own pages and documentation.
- Retailers. Typical selling prices come from major US retailers on the date shown in each guide.
- Independent coverage. We read hands-on reviews from established publications to understand real-world strengths and complaints.
Every guide lists its sources at the bottom of the page.
What the fit check is, and is not
The fit check is our reading of the specs and the reviews we cite, turned into simple yes, maybe and no answers. It is not a lab test. When a claim depends on hands-on testing by someone else, we link to that source rather than presenting it as our own result.
Photos
Product images on this site come from Amazon.com through the Amazon Associates program, or are openly licensed photos credited to their authors.
Keeping guides current
Each guide shows the date it was last updated. We recheck prices and models regularly and rewrite a guide when a new version of the product comes out. If you see something out of date, tell us at hello@getorskip.com.
Independence
No brand has paid to appear on this site, and brands do not see or approve our guides before they are published.
