About Get or Skip

Last updated October 13, 2026

Get or Skip publishes short buyer's guides for popular products sold in the United States. Each guide answers one question: does this product fit the way you will use it, or should you skip it?

Most product pages tell you what a product can do. Our guides spend just as much time on what it cannot do, who should buy something else, and which version is worth the money. Every guide has a quick fit check: tick what matters to you and the page tells you whether the product is a good match.

What you will find here

• One guide per product, written in plain English.
• The specs that matter for the decision, not the whole spec sheet.
• Clear limits and deal-breakers, stated up front.
• A list of the sources behind every guide, so you can check our reading.

How the site is paid for

When you buy through a link on this site, we may earn a commission from Amazon. It does not change the price you pay. It does not change our verdicts either: the same guide that links to a product also tells you who should skip it. Read more in our affiliate disclosure.

How we work

We explain how products are chosen and how each guide is built on How we choose products.
