The Straw Lid is cold-only
YETI says not to use it with hot drinks. For coffee you need a MagSlider Lid, which is a separate purchase.
No leakproof claim
YETI calls some bottle caps leakproof. It makes no such claim for this straw lid, so keep it upright.
No ice-hold number
YETI says the mug is vacuum insulated but gives no hours for cold or ice. Plan around that.
Heavy when full
It weighs 1.72 lb empty and stands 10.8 in tall. Full, it is a lot to carry one-handed for long.
